Equipo Kern Pharma will count on twenty-two riders for the upcoming 2023 season, its third as an UCI ProTeam, after signing three riders: Pablo Castrillo and Mikel Retegi, from Equipo Lizarte and Iñigo Elosegui, from Movistar Team. Again, the pharmaceutical team will be one of the youngest outfits in the peloton.

On the other hand, six riders will leave Equipo Kern Pharma: Sergio Araiz, Jaime Castrillo, Diego López and Iván Moreno, who will start new projects in different areas; Daniel Méndez, who will try to continue racing in Colombia; and Savva Novikov, who will have to pause its career due to some health issues.

“We would like 2023 to be the year we achieve our stability”, says Juanjo Oroz, Equipo Kern Pharma’s general manager. “We count on important young riders that have grown the previous years and we want to give them the continuity they need. Our main goal will be to build a strong team, but we also want to go back to our origins so we could continue in the right direction”, expresses, while concludes: “Equipo Kern Pharma will fight to be one of the top teams in the category”.
