The 2021 season is about to get underway, and most riders of Equipo Kern Pharma are already training on their new gear. Two cyclists from Navarra, Sergio Araiz and Diego López Fuentes, were the first ones to test and showcase the whole outfit that the new Spanish UCI ProTeam will use this year.
Etxeondo will once again be Equipo Kern Pharma’s clothing provider. For its second year competing in the UCI ranks, the pharmaceutical team has chosen to keep a similar layout to the one used for its debut, with two main areas of re-style: more black on the shoulders and the appearance Finisher, Kern Pharma’s sports nutrition brand, on the sides of the jersey.
As for the bikes, Giant Bikes has extended its commitment with Equipo Kern Pharma. In 2021, the young prospects nurtured by Juanjo Oroz and Manolo Azcona will be able to use three different bikes: the Propel aero bike, the all-rounder TCR Advanced SL 2021 and the Trinity Advanced SL time trial bike. All of them will be equipped with carbon-built wheelsets and components from premium brand Cadex.
The partner who provided the sunglasses in 2020 will also work with Equipo Kern Pharma this upcoming season. Catalan brand Eassun will supply the team’s riders with two different models, Mortirolo and Giant, for them to choose the ones who fit better their tastes – and faces!
