Equipo Kern Pharma keeps its hopes intact
Presentation of Equipo Kern Pharma 2024
The Hotel Tres Reyes hosted Equipo Kern Pharma’s 2024 team presentation this Tuesday 16th of January. Nearly 300 people attended the event, which marked the beginning of an exciting season.
The pharmaceutical team will have 24 cyclists in its roster 2023. Six cyclists from the 2023 roster leave the team and eight are the signings, four of them from its feeder team, Equipo Finisher.
About the racing schedule, Equipo Kern Pharma will visit more than 10 countries and will race a large part of its calendar in France and Spain. In addition, one-day races will be a nice goal for the team this year.
Equipo Kern Pharma will also fight to return to La Vuelta, a grand tour in which it made its debut in 2022 and to which it wishes to return to honour the race.
The Regional Minister of Culture, Sport and Tourism of the Government of Navarre, Rebeca Esnaola, was in charge of opening the event: «It is a pleasure to attend the presentation of the Equipo Kern Pharma and I am delighted that it has been held here at home, in Navarre. We want to see you grow, to continue to enjoy your triumphs and to accompany and support you on this professional journey so that young people can see first-hand an opportunity for progression. We hope that you will make us vibrate with joy and excitement in this new season».
“Our project was born to help cyclists and give them the road they deserve. Equipo Kern Pharma was born to add, and that will continue to be our mission for 2024. We continue to dream of improving what we already are, of returning to La Vuelta and that our values represent the fans”, asserts Juanjo Oroz, Team Manager of Equipo Kern Pharma.
Manuel Garrido, Kern Pharma‘s CEO, shares his impressions: “We are very happy with all the people who have come to see the team. A team that fulfils the values that we also have at Kern Pharma: sacrifice, humility, eagerness to improve. That is what fills me with pride and makes us feel proud, that all the members of the Equipo Kern Pharma have this in their DNA”.
